Errm it’s got a small engine to drive it you can hear it running in the video. It’s a small compact truck that folds to store away. A clever idea really. But with any mounted fork truck there is going to a bit less carrying capacity.

As good as it looks, if they could find a way to make the rear part with less height so it could be loaded/unloaded from either side of the trailer it would be much better, I imagine that would be feasible if it was electric

It’s good for 2.1 tonne, that covers most lifts. It also seems to have tines long enough to be able to reach the far side of the trailer. I wonder what it weighs.
The only downside seems to be the lack of ground clearance, the box creates.
Ground clearance of the trailer locker stowage looks a bit iffy.If the landing legs were left at that height they’d probably hit something.
2 ton much better than having one swinging on the back of the trailer, plus you dont need 2 ton counter balance on the front of the trailer, we operated one some years ago, they where some what dearer to the ones on the rear, but much safer because they never took the weight off the 5th wheel when running empty,
