Who was it ?

Monday afternoon on I-87 south near Ramapo / Sloatsburgh, NY a very British voice was asking directions to the Pilot in Mahwah NJ, I replied and told him how to get there.
“Thanks mate, you’re a Limey ain’t you ?” he replied.
“Yes and so are you ain’t you ?” said I.
“Yeah, nice hearing you, bye” …
That was the sum total of our conversation, was it you ?

Met another fellow Brit yesterday in the Pilot in Milford CT, he drives for Crete Carriers and came from Swindon, nice bloke but we we both busy and I never got his name.

If the Big Freight driver pulling a dry van trailer is on here that was me waveing at you in the Wal Mart truck west bound on the NY thruway west of Albany on Wednesday  I don’t use a CB anymore and the driver was sitting so far behind the wheel i could’nt see him. Usualy it’s after they’ve met me they try to hide from me

When I was out in Oregon last year I came across a British guy on for Knights. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him as he seemed very busy and in a rush to scale and go but I certainly over heared his accent and after scourering the parking area for a Canadian truck, I saw him get in to a truck from said US company. Must be married to an American?

Charles, there are two lads on Big Freight that moved from Manitoba out to New Brunswick, they do van work from NY up to the eastern provinces, mostly ATVs from Polaris in Syracuse (I think that’s where it is) one is Malcolm (Mal) and the other is Terry, both really nice blokes (for Big Freight drivers anyway  )
