The one and only fuel bonus I’ve had was £25 last week. I’ve been told by drivers (never been told officially) that you need to be getting 7mpg and above. I’m one of the most steady tipper drivers there is and I struggle to get beyond 6.5. I do a lot of work into Oxford city and Banbury so not ideal roads to get good mpg. Wish I still had the Alpha, I could easily get 9mpg with that.

I get roughly about 6.7-7mpg each day with a fully loaded Scania.
£25 quid a week isnt bad if you could get it every week though.
i’d be lucky to get low sixes in the daf even with some distance work thrown in,all that pto work for us kills it.
dread to think what it works out at for the hino-high fours/low fives i should imagine!!!
