does anybody know what a team driver books in his log book when he is not driving or sleeping .just sitting in the passenger seat. this has never come up before as i have always been on my own . i have bought another truck so while it is being prepared my driver and i will team for a week help if you can thank you james
When not in the bunk, you are on duty, not driving.
Unless of course, you’re low on hours, in which case, it’s bunk time, and you dive back in there if you see a scalehouse… but we didn’t tell you that

It’s either you are in the bunk, or driving . If not - you are on duty. If you are smart, though, you’ll be in the bunk when you finished your driving.
But i didn’t tell you that either.
