Smiths Bletchington have had several long servers; One tipper driver retired in July with 38 years, our longest serving driver hit retirement age earlier this year but is carrying on currently at almost 39 years. Our shipper that retired at Christmas did 46, a dragline driver did 44 years. The old chap’s done 34…

Speaking to a driver outside B&Q Garth Dee in Aberdeen recently and he stated that he had been driving for the same firm for 36 years. Can you beat that? I can’t.There’s a driver on Shirley’s Transport that’s worked there since the '70s, he now drives the silver DAF.

I was wrong anyway, the driver of the DAF has been there 42 years!!!
It says a lot about a company to have long serving guys like these.
