typical woman always wanting to gossip

Ship out Sunday nite, probably 8pm to cairnryan. Arrive Stoke @ 3.30am for an 11.30am tip. Reload milton keynes at 3pm and hopefully on the midnight ferry, either stranraer or cairnryan.

Of course, as usual the boss could throw a spanner in the works and send me out on the liverpool crossing, which I absolutely hate. :imp:

Load Monday and then ship Dover - Calais P&O. Already know ongoing berthing problems at Calais will cause delay. SIGH

Drop load in Calais.

Booked into Venlo (NL) dealer Tuesday Morning to have a toll collect box fitted …Hurrah

Collection in Mannheim (D) & another at St Quentin (F) should put me back hopefully at Calais or back into UK (P&O permitting) to deliver Folkestone & Bournmouth on Thursday…

Run home finishing Friday nice and early…Lovely…

Any bets on plan going wrong…

just some info for you lucy.they are doing roadworks on the kingston bridge for the next year so you could face slight delays heading into paisley.also they have in their wisdom ( local council boys) changed the road slightly as you come off the kingston bridge,at one time not so long ago you would get over to the inside lane as you come off the bridge, now since your going to paisley stay in the lane that you are in as you come off the bridge ( middle lane) other wise your going to kilmarnock.you will see what i mean when you come round the bend off the bridge.

Guilty. That was me being the obligatory 20 minutes late.

Found it no trouble thanks…I was loading out of one of the warehouses at the end of Wright Street - boy does Wright Street look frighteningly residential until you get to the end :open_mouth: - and it turned out to be what our firm like to call a perfect load ie.job done in bang on 45 minutes.

Got back down as far as Stainmore Cafe on the A66 (cracking little stop, btw…use it or lose it folks - even tight-wad cab-cookers like me buy a couple of cans of coke in there 'cos he doesn’t charge for parking…therefore you can’t complain about the potholes which rival Birtley N/Owl in depth!), with a nice quick turnaround for Leigh this morning - at which point I got stuck for 3 hours and lost my reload, landing me home tonight.

Alva tomorrow, watch out Scotland again - usually Glasgow reload of some description! :open_mouth:
