which provinces in canada are in the pnp scheme?? and also what companies are hiring drivers from uk??
Alberta (recently renamed theirs), Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia (recently started a trial one) not sure about the eastern provinces, think Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have it, Ontario and Quebec don’t nor do the northern ones Yukon, NWT, Nunavat afaik.
I think Ontario may have one by now they were working on something when i was there.
If you want to know which companies are hiring UK drivers, just google Canadian trucking companies, get there number and phone them up, most will hire you, but some can get your LMO quicker than others. thats Labor Market Opinion, you need that to work.
i’m really trying to find co’s in the atlantic provinces who will take on uk drivers, so if anyone knows of anybody heading out there to work/already working there the info would be appreciated
