Which driving school?

Hello again

I’ve pretty much made up my mind to do WnD for my class 1 and have been in touch with the school that did my class 2…

It wasn’t the best experience I’ve ever had (doing my class 2) as I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been. Being duped by a broker (didn’t know any different) I didn’t get great value for money, a mistake I won’t make again, but the question is this…is it wise to use the same training school as it’s something you’re familiar with? OR try a different school as it’s good to try something new??

p.s apparently driver training doesn’t count towards the 35 hours of periodic training…is this true

If the school has the driver training approved for dcpc then it can count towards the 35 hours

If happy with a school then go back there

If doing W&D then perhaps doing a 4 hour artic course afterwards … the two have differences

wow ta mate i never realised that certain schools training hours count towards cpc periodic training. being a newbie am still rather wet behind the ears so to speak so your advice in invaluable…have you heard about Town & Country out in Lancashire somewhere?

I did change schools done my Cat C at 1 then went to another for CE ( yep failed on reverse ) then just been down to Chelmsford ( Flair training which I can recommend ) to do in W&D this is much easier to do test in I was well out of area but as the examiner tells you where to go I didnt find this a problem also had a good instructor in John ( gentle giant :wink: :laughing: )
