In fact as I asked for the road number you get it. Its the bridge over the Tweed at Coldstream

Google has it changed to the A698 by then. Don’t know why, it’s the A697 in England and Scotland.

Haha my next clue was that the counties aren’t necessarily in the same country… :smiley:

I just had a look at that on Google maps, you’re right. A quick look on the SABRE wiki tells me its a multiplex with the 698 through Coldstream which then disappears off to Kelso one way and Berwick the other. It should be noted as the A697 through Coldstream as that is the primary route.
