I’ve cheated a bit here. I can see a ferry in your pic, so I googled some images and it looks like MV Pentalina which sails in Orkney, between St Margaret’s Hope and Gills Bay. 
Your ‘cheating’ paid off. It is the Pentalina.But it’s not really cheating though but ‘research’, sails TO Orkney btw 
That’s not cheating, that’s exactly how you work things out. The photo without the ferry would have been very difficult to ID unless you happened to live round the corner.

Your on South Ronaldsay near St Margaret’s Hope, probably on or very close to the A961, across the bay is Burray and Stromness in the distance.
Spot on. I’m actually stood at the road side. I came over the brow of the hill and there was the rainbow so I jumped out and took the shot. 2 minutes later it was gone
