There’s thread like this on the Yank site but almost every post has got pictures of, very big, meals. 
I have wragged them about their culinary habits.

I would have got had I seen it earlier, that’s my old stomping ground from my youth which was a very long time ago!

From Pudsey originally but spent lots of time in the dales and worked on a farm near Settle in my teens.
Ah right well I’m from Kirkbymoorside area so right on top of it. Settle’s the other side of the county lol.
I am sure that Kirkbymoorside was one of the regular destinations on ride-outs in my biker days long before I got behind the wheel of a truck, I lost the clutch somewhere out that way and a pub/hotel called the Kings Head found a bunk for me to kip on for the night until a local biker found parts for me to fix the clutch! Was a very pleasant night really with a few jars of a local beer!
That’s the place, looks just the same as it was years ago. The landlord then was very hospitable and made sure I had somewhere to stay for the night and I am almost glad I broke down to enjoy a few pints there.
