Grrr would have got that. Wish I’d seen this before would have been good in the Great North Road book. I actually comment on that hill.

It looks like he must have missed a gear on the heavy bit & ran backover so as to end up like this, It was a common thing for wagons to do this, Of course there was a alternative route which some firms told their drivers to use, The firm I drove for in the 50s insisted it was used with the Wagon & Drag they owned, Regards Larry.
