I know it sounds a silly question but the one i drive has keyless start which is all well and good till the thing packs up in the middle of a traffic jam!!
Apparently there is a ignition barrel somewhere but no one in the yard knew where it was.
Try looking for a blanking plug on steering colum
My Cmax has key less start but there’s a blanking cap you can remove and put fob in and turn
