The building is still there as is the white building top centre (although altered)
The road number has changed
There is a very well known junction out of the picture to the left.
It was the A1 when that pic was taken, now the A6108…
Stopped there often when I was heading “Scotch”!
And the building it was taken from is now the Holiday Inn…

I think he’s right, I got most of it couldn’t work out the building it was taken form though. Nice photo, loads of room on the road no body tailgating, mini estate at the pumps and a Rover P6 just pulling in. The saddest thing about that photo is I was probably well into my teens when it was taken
