So, if hell forgive me posting here? Im 99% sure the pic was taken on July 14th when he was blocked for Bastille Day in France. Knowing him there would have been a Resto Routiers where he stopped.

Yes my hands are enjoyably full.
Yes it’s a very good Routier on the left of the pic which was taken from the bridge, showing the view in both directions and rammed with bank holiday traffic.

Loads of Portuguese and Spaniards using this route for exactly that reason.
Generally going like the clappers despite the 70 Kms limit .
