Where is the best place to advertise for class 1 owner drivers? I am not spamming details here as I now know it is not allowed. Just after some advise as to where I should advertise. I personally don’t know where people look nowadays,

Wouldn’t bother with the vacancies section on here.
The powers that be want you to pay for advertising. I am an owner driver and very often need someone to cover for me but even those types of ads, which I would think are suitable for this forum, are taken down.

I advertised myself for hire on the vacancy section, I hope owner-drivers look at that section.

Not anymore. Its a shame as sometimes people are needed and none advertised, so putting a quick ad would be useful and may help all of us but… ‘By drivers for drivers’ … don’t think so!

Funny, but I cant see why you are surprised that a business that makes its income from advertising would want paying for it, I mean I am sure as an owner driver you are more than happy to accept payment for the service you provide 
But I tell you what, in the interests of fairness, when ever we want anything moved you move it for free, and we will give you free advertising for drivers when you need one … deal?

You could message our partners Logistics Job Shop and see if they can help
Plambert see if any se drivers from here are in your area
I think the days when you could find owner-drivers waiting on the end of a phone or on a computer looking for work are long gone. If you have ongoing work at decent rates, they will come to you.
Some of the facebook groups are pretty good for finding owner drivers.
I found placing job on indeed website was best had lots of people enquire
