Hello I am currently out of work due to leaving class 2 work to get my class 1 of which I just passed.
However my old job are saying they don’t owe me any wages and are arguing about my leaving date.
Where can I download my Digicard please so I can prove to them my dates are correct ?
Whole thing really is giving me a headache

Or get a job for a day with agency (clss 2) and do a print out for a previous date from the tacho unit (make sure there’s plenty of paper inside)

That’s great thanks but most of the readers I have found on eBay are £25 ? Maybe I am looking at the wrong ones
How long can I go back and print out on my card do you know ? Can I print past a month ?

Look for a used one.

You can go back several months (6-8, possibly more depending on how many days a month you worked - the fewer, the longer back you can go)
Tachomaster do a free trial, 28 days I think.
Search ebay for an Omnikey 3121 card reader, you can get a used one for about £6.50.

Why not just approach them at their office, tactfully inform them that you think they have ‘‘made a mistake’’ and that if they download your card there and then, then that will prove said ‘‘mistake’’, so that you can both discuss it.

Don’t dvsa offer that facility at their sites (weighbridge or test station) in case you are caught out down the road?

If you are based in Ipswich, I should be able to download your card onto my tachomaster system, or do a print from my tacho. I’m based in Saxmundham, but work in Colchester. Not sure if that helps?

Little lesson for the future … if you are planning to leave somewhere get printouts for all the days you haven’t been paid for before leaving

You can buy brand new ones for just over a tenner. The software company I worked at used them on systems they sold for staff cards.
