I think id put up with ad-blue if it meant driving a 540 as opposed to a 440 that doesnt use it!
My 440 goes alright, a 540 would beat me in a drag race if we had the same weight on, but once we are up to the limiter’s the only difference would be the uphill bits.
I would probably win a Filling Up Race- because I only fill the diesel, where’as with a 540 you’ve also got to round up a Herd of Goats & milk their ■■■■ so you can fill the Adblu Tank. Lol !
Or you just get in the yard in the morning and its already full as one of the night drivers goes along and fills them all up, in which case the 540 beats you both times lol. Plus its a manual. Saying that I’ve done over 800mile this week and the AdBlue needle hasn’t moved yet.
