I smell bs…

Nose too near chocolate starfish. :smiling_imp:

I should hope not seeing a truck pretty much intact without the usual visual cues of a Bridge strike…

So he stopped before he hit the bridge and then reversed back.

.
.
So he didn’t.

He got wedged under the bridge and a wrecker dragged him out.
.
.

As usual you’re talking utter rubbish!

That video does not show a bridge strike.is there any newspaper reports to say other wise

Check out your own gussett.
.

He only kissed it, i would have just backed up sharpish and pleaded ignorance, i certainly wouldnt have needed a wrecker to get me out

So it was closed for several hours just for that?? The japs would have had a brand new bridge built and new road layout in that time.

Are you looking at a different picture to us?

Did West Yorkshire police give you your information?

Do you actually drive a truck?

I’d imagine that judging by the photograph that is being displayed on this planet that even you would be capable of engaging reverse gear and driving that great thundering juggernaut away from that bridge!

Several points;
1, The trailer in the photo looks like if it were level it would fit under the bridge so I’m wondering how he hit it?
2, Loving the close up of the beardy bloke in the vid.
3, Also loving the attractive lady walking past.

This is NOT the Orpington bridge in the original post

It flipping well is! Just had a look on Google Earth (Station Road/Crofton Road, Orpington) and the view is identical (apart from the absence of truck on GE). And yes, it is the same motor too! If you look carefully around the 30s mark on the video, you can just see some damage to the top FNS corner of the trailer.
