What's wrong with your truck

…that isn’t dangerous ,or maybe it is and annoys the hell out of you but the gaffer just won’t get it fixed .

For me it’s the fuel gauge on a '51 merc 7.5t ,doesn’t work and he just will not get it fixed ,also there is a lever missing off the seat adjuster so i cannot alter the seat height properly and the plug/ for the satnav is dodgy so the battery keeps going flat ,the drivers side mirror simply cannot be used when it’s raining because the wrong size mirror has been gunked into the surround and is no longer heated

On day you could call him and say your back is now so bad you can’t finish your shift.

Oh, and you were late at the drop because you got lost then ran out of diesel ,and then you reversed into a building because you couldn’t see in your mirror because t was raining…

Pause

Then say…well it hasn’t happened yet, but it might.

He’ll either fix the truck or sack you!

Personally I’d do all that properly but would probably wait for a quiet day to do the lighter socket on a day-cabbed 7.5t.

I have to reset the display from “visit workshop” and “service imediately” so as i can read the digi speedo about 30 times a ■■■■■■ day :imp:
Ive made repeated requests to workshop about it for the last 2 years, now ive given up.
The deal breaker is that its gota go to a merc dealer to have the fault read but that means money! :unamused:

Just keep running out of fuel until he does fix it.
