What's the penalty for 5:30 h of continuous driving?

because of my stupidity of not hearing the wake [ALARM CLOCK] I had to drive without 45min break to reach the unload site.
what penalty I’m up for if vosa checks me out?!
p. s. when I’ve reached the site, I’ve printed a ticket from the tacho and wrote on it “no parking”.
do I have a chance to get away cheaper?

They won’t accept your pathetic(harsh but true) excuse for breaking the law I’m afraid, also if you were driving at a fast speed continually for a long period of time after you went over your 4.5hrs they won’t accept either that you couldn’t find anywhere to park in say 30 miles of driving…better hope you don’t get pulled tbh

ok! I understand. but what’s the price for my mistake?

I’d lose that card if I was you. Ring it in as missing ASAP. And don’t do it again. Makes a bit of a mockery of the rules to play it like that bud.

Death

The fixed penalty for driving up-to 1 hour over the 4.5 hours is £100 in the UK, between 1 hour and 2 hours over the 4.5 hours is £200 fixed penalty.

I believe you’re based somewhere over the water (Europe) but I’ve no idea how that will affect you either here or in other EU countries.

And that will do what as if DVSA download from the head all the info will be there including the drivers details regardless of how many drivers have driven the same vehicle .

Do not pass go…

I’m just suggesting the best option I could think of. As I said, I don’t condone the action in any way, shape, or form

I used to work somewhere where that reckoned they downloaded the heads all the time. No driver ever got even remotely reprimanded for any tacho issues, including the first hour they drove without their card in, or the last bit they did without it in, when they had about 6 hours true daily rest,

bin the card and forget about it…you may want to set fire to the truck as well, just in case.

I may bin the [CREDIT CARD] but cannot fire my [HOUSE WITH GARDEN].

ok ten…bin the card, and if anyone asks you,say that whatever particular day your aledged offence happened is a bit hazy as you were smacked out of your ■■■■ on ketamine the entire day which you had to take to bring you down from the 6 gallons of red bull you took the 4 previous days due to having 35 deliveries between bolougne and Murcia on trip money.that might be a plausible enough excuse? it would help if by that time you were working for an irish hooligan company where that would be deemed normal practice.
