if i had to relocate and start my driving career again i would move to Aberdeen or Inverness, a couple of trips south a week would just about do and knowing that as the scenery gets nicer you are getting closer to home would also be a bonus

Bristol and Avonmouth in particular is an excellent area as Nick has already quoted, oh and also house prices and rentals are very realistic too especially compared to Dartford way.

Agreed. I know of many drivers who have relocated to Northampton for work. A lot of lads from South Wales, a fair amount from the North East, even some from the North West. Some have moved ‘lock, stock & barrel’ i.e. moved their families with them but there are also a lot who just have digs and go home every other weekend.
