I currently use a tt720 with the truck maps installed but are thinking of going legit and buying a new purpose made device what do people think of the new ones on the market?
Most satnavs are a waste of money, I wouldn’t waste hard earned cash on something not really needed. My mobile phone has one built in but I refused to subscribe to the $10.00 a month. I used truck route maps ad directions of the internet to exact addresses.
Recently Verizon contacted me to ask why I don’t use it ad I told them $10.00 a month for something probably used 2 or 3 times a month was pointless, they offered me the service for one cent a month ad I accepted. VZ Navigator has got me out of a couple of nasty situations in the last two weeks, lost in the Bronx and Newark NJ.
a lot on here say snooper i got a pronavv pnn300 and for the money you cant go wrong but i always double check the route first just incase
Pronav was crap I sent mine back.

really what was up with it i find mine ok
It kept telling me it was unable to calculate route when in truck mode if your destination was within a weight limit, also if starting from a weight limit it would not calculate a route, when I rang them their suggestion was "Put it in car mode " which defeats the object of having a truck satnav.
The final straw was when it just died on me despite being only a couple of months old.
