What truck most expencive to repair / servicing?

Hi Lads.

Trying to draw a chat to see what trucks make most expencive for servicing & repair (e.g. clutch, tensioners, wheel bearings etc).
Thanks

Thank you

Not sure about the other zb heaps but the Erf and Foden are undoubtedly the cheapest .

Does this not depend to a great extent on who’s driving them? Two drivers could have vastly different service/repair costs dependent on driving style and skill level not to mention attitude.

I’m told MAN parts can be very pricey and major engine and exhaust problems are not unknown

Just a tad 5 and a half grand for a compressor and 17 grand for a euro 6 exhaust.

Still could be worse, could be a Neoplan coach (more MAN crap)
Only three grand for a mirror.

No wonder they are so cheap second hand

I had a new compressor fitted at a Renault main dealer in December and it was £1,200 parts and labour.

I’ve never come across a MAN compressor that cost £5k.

Bought a new compressor for Foden couple of month back for less than 500 quid fitted it with a borrowed spanner set n a socket set from b n q on a Saturday morning in the yard .5 k for a compressor is a joke .

They fitted new engine with it. :open_mouth:
