Been driving a DAF flatbed all week (K reg).
There’s a cable running to the mirrors but I can’t seem to find a switch to turn on heated mirrors.
Any ideas?
Heated mirror the switch for mine on arm test next to window switches
K reg!? If its that old theres very little chance it had heated anything when new, and frankly even less chance of it still working.
On more modern ones its usually between the mirror adjusters (which sometimes work). Some could also have the wiring from more modern mirror but no switch inside.
Is K reg old enough to be tacho exempt?
Forget the mirrors, I’d be greatful the thing still starts.

Vehicles manufactured before 1947 do not require a tacho.
Over 25 years old and not used commercially is also exempt.
Seatbelts not required to be fitted though!

Thanks, I knew there was a 25 year exemption in there somewhere - Couldn’t remember it was for non commercials only.
