What happens hours that don`t count for anything?

Simple hypothetical question.
If I take a 14 minute break (should be 15),or later, a 29 minute break(should be 30),or even 44 minute(should be 45)obviously neither amount constitutes a break or part thereof. What, however is this non conforming “break” classed as?
I know its all part of a 15 hr day,but if one was tight on a 10hr max working shift, would it be classed as "other work".Surely not. POA?Debatable. Plain and simple rest■■?■■? That doesnt go towards driving breaks?

A period recoded as a break is still break regardless of the length of it, 1 minute or 1 hour. Obviously if it is less than 15 minutes then it won’t count toward a driving or WTD break. If it’s less than 30 minutes, if that is what is required at that time for a driving break then it won’t count toward that but it would still be a WTD break.

It’s definitely not other work.

It’s not POA if you’ve recorded it as break.

It’s not rest, minimum period for rest is 3 hours and the criteria for rest and break are different.

It’s just break and it doesn’t count toward your working time for the WTD.

As Coffeeholic said a break is a break regardless of whether or not it conforms to the requirements of a driving break or a wtd break.

If you record 14 minutes as break on the tachograph then it’s a 14 minute break, not one that will count as a driving break or wtd break but still a break.

Thanks lads,just hypothetically speaking.
