I’m pretty sure that’s the local time symbol.
I think you was probably putting the start time in when you took the picture, but you’ve shown us such a small area of the screen it’s hard to say for certain.

look at the the top right hand corner and it shows a diamond symbol and it seems know knows what this is for ? its no where to be found ?

Local time is a dot/ circle to the right of the clock.
The Op’s symbol is IMS (independent motion signal).

The diamond shown is showing the IMS is active with the ignition off.
Independent Motion Sensor which I understand to be the connection to the ABS/ASR via the CANbus which gives the secind motion sensor.
Release 2.0 VDO onwards
