If your working wholly under Domestic Rules - you are allowed 10 hours driving and 11 hours duty… your supposed to have sufficient rest… what about breaks? how long is a driver entitled to and do these count as part of “Duty”?
Its this flaming florist van - its doing my head in - it may be taken to the local crushers - I had to keep taking it over on the run up to mothers day!

There are no legally required breaks or rest on domestic regs
breaks and rest do not count as duty under domestic regs
Nothing to stop you doing this silly thing under domestic regs all year !!

11 hour work = 11 hours duty (which includes driving and working ) rest is not counted
domestic regulations don’t have any break requirements ( only pcv have)
the duty limit is in a fixed 24 hour period ( which means if you start a 6 am and work till 17.20 you would not be able to start work again till 6 am )
you are under working time regulations
48 max working week ( which can be opted out but not below )
you entitled to a 20 minute break at 6 hours work and sufficient rest and must have 24 hours of in 7 days
