I once picked up a load of bails of rubbish from Biffa at derby? and took it to sheffield where it was shredded down to a smaller size where it is then loaded into containers, there must have been 15-20 boxes queued up outside waiting to be loaded when I arrived
aparentely the name given to the rubbish is “dross”

a firm i do some work with bring UK made excavators back from 2 dealers in france - several times they have had to wait for the UK motor to tip them while they sit there waiting to take them back to UK - no idea what the fiddle is
There aren’t any dodgy looking guys with welding gear hanging around the yard are there? Vaguely remember seeing a documentary or something a few weeks ago where UK customs stopped a load of “excavator arms”, turned out they were fakes, and when they cut them open they were completely stuffed with ■■■■ 
Used to do Italy down to Imola tip empty box’s,then up to Venice tip empty box’s and then home empty,sometimes there was one box(full) to come back but this was rare.Then on return i used to sit at landrover and watch the clampers at work
