I do believe the old town car park was closed in exchange for a new shiny monstrosity on the A1. Corporate Hospitality at its very best :laughing:

Wetherby lorry park is still open at the moment i was there last week, its only a matter of time until it is closed but aparently the local council had invested its money in an Icelantic bank which has delayed its plans to convert the lorry park… :blush: :blush: :blush:

Anyone for a petition, wont work but may slow the closure process down, Taddy and Wetherby were always on my favourite list, cheap beer and decent fish and chips too.

Yeah but we might have to re-word it though i dont know how far we will get with a petition for truck drivers parking we need CHEAP BEER AND FISH & CHIPS !!!

Good news,thanks,was there 7 or 8 weeks ago but guess it’s future is unsure. Please keep us updated it’s appreciated

Haven’t made it back yet. Anyone know if it’s still open? Saw a post from local paper that said it’s future was very short term. Any update Tim?

I only got one signature on my Cheap Beer and Fish and Chip Petition. I blame Gordon Brown for closing all the No 10 petitions down :stuck_out_tongue:
