I can’t offer an opinion on either of the companies as an employer.
If you are thinking of relocating to Cornwall (I’ve moved here) consider the following.
Wages will be lower than where you are.
People are generally friendly and laid back.
House prices and rents vary greatly…there are ‘fashionable’ parts of the county where property is on the London scale. In other places property is very affordable. The build quality of some houses is shocking…there are real issues…google ‘mundic’ and ‘Cornish unit’.
Alternative employment prospects are more limited, and word is likely to spread if you are a ‘difficult’ employee.
Traffic congestion can be an issue in the holiday season.
It’s a lovely place to live.
I’d also consider West Wales, if you fancy a more gentle pace of life. Housing very cheap, and a wonderful coast with dolphins, seals, basking sharks, choughs and more

You’re right about West Wales we had a week near New Quay back in the heat wave and it was equally as beautiful as Cornwall but a lot less crowded and cheaper too.
I used to live near Cardigan Bay…people who have been to both say it’s like New Zealand.
I found the Welsh reputation for being unfriendly was not true for West Wales at all. Never encountered the slightest ‘attitude’ and it was interesting listening to people changing from English to Welsh and back again mid-conversation.
Not a place to live if you or your O/H likes shopping…if it wasn’t in Aldi or the local farm supplies shop then you had to go the internet route. Mobile phone coverage a bit patchy too. But you can live a simple life very cheaply there and if you are between the coast and the hills you don’t get the rain.
Truck driving jobs were mostly farm/forest related. Good varied work if you don’t mind narrow, bendy roads. Pretty much everyone seemed to run Scania or Volvo…I guess the operating conditions would kill most other trucks. Those forests are huge.
Family reasons took us to Cornwall…otherwise we probably would have stayed.

Best thing my parents ever did was move to West Wales. One correction I will make though is you can’t avoid the rain, esp in winter. It rains, a lot. Mobile phone coverage is also improving very rapidly. A year ago I had no signal at all at my parents house now I get 4G outside and 3G in, amazing! Plenty of work, not least with Mansel Davies,my father works there and the money is pretty bloody good. He’s on the milk tankers.
Anyway you’re moving to Cornwall, just thought I’d add a Welsh perspective
