The other provinces are different and the companies are not so bad, but you still have to get the increasingly harder immigration stuff done as fast as possible or you’ll be kicked out if your permit runs out before the application is approved.
Which really just seems to confirm that it’s the mad immigration situation that is the real problem. In which we’ve now got free movement of workers between UK and France etc let alone eastern Europe.Having lost it in the English speaking world in Canada,Australia and NZ.
For once Carryfast, you’re right.
The Canadian situation is not just companies exploiting workers, but people are also losing everything and having to leave when one piece of paper expires before another one is issued.
People with good jobs (there are plenty) that own their own house, car etc. Their families all have jobs and contribute to the economy and they’re being kicked out over a bureaucratic ■■■■ up.
Quite the contrast with Britain where the only thing you need to do to get in is jump in a trailer in Calais…

Some of the stuff said was total BS.Research the company you are coming over for seen a fair few go back due to lack of research.
The justifiable point being more that of the ridiculous draconian immigration conditions which tie Brit immigrant drivers to a specific employer good or bad which is obviously then open to abuse by bad employers. As opposed to just a system of open door immigration policy for Brits with freedom of movement and choice to move around taking up whatever type of employment is available and offered which would provide the employee with the same rights and ability to dump a bad employer and move to one that suits,as an indigenous Canadian worker. As would/should be expected in a developed Brit based English speaking society.
Suppose you want it handed to ya on a plate? To move employer don’t cost you a cent and the new employer can take over your sponsorship which I know has happened. Also each province is different as to how the process works.
Although it takes way to long I got no problem going through the same process as everyone else.
The facts concerning the demographics of Canadian ( and Australian ) immigration and ‘changes’ in policy regards same since the 1960’s to date suggest a discrminatory system based on ethnic social engineering which just coincidentally matches the cheap labour agenda of the establishment. It isn’t wanting anything ‘handed to anyone on a plate’ in calling for a return to the open door freedom of movement and open door immigration policy between the English speaking world as that which made those countries/colonies the English speaking world in question.Which would thereby provide Brit workers with exactly the same rights and choices on landing as the so called ‘natives’.

I know I’m right nmm because I was one of those who was refused entry in the earlier days of the Canadian immigration policy when it never even gave us the chance to try to go there to work.
Obviously in favour of populating the place with a more ‘ethnically diverse’ immigrant population than that of the old country which made Canada Canada and not India or China.
