This trip took me 4.5 hours but my sat nav said 3 hours ,194km does any one use this route ?
my next trip is to Frankfurt .how long from calias? 55mph

Well 194km is near enough 200 for easy counting.
80 kmh for 200 km would be 3 hours if you don’t ever slow down. As that’s extremely unlikely, 4.5 hours seems a touch slow, but not by much.

Rotterdam to Frankfurt takes me between 6 and 7 hours.
From Calais it’s a bit longer.

We ship Rotterdam when we go there and Avelingen (across the water from there) :smiley:

Werkendam-Calais is 190miles…
We stop at the truckstop in hank which is about 10miles short of there and that takes us about 4 hrs on a good run…

194 miles ? That explains it :unamused:
200 miles at 55 mph, plus 30 minutes is about as quick as you’d do it.

Just did a check 194k is 120 miles
1 k is .62 of a mile

4.5 hours something is wrong here

Something IS wrong :slight_smile: as werkendam to Calais via Antwerp = 184 miles
Hence 4 ish hours if your lucky around Antwerp…

Yes, but is the distance 194 km or 194 miles ?

It’s definately miles, my first delivery last Thursday was a regular in raamsdonksveer which is 10miles short of werkendam and it took me 4.10hrs driving from Calais…if it the werkendam just short of gorinchem…

I worked for the dodgiest bloke in the world at Werkendam, and we could easily do Calais in one hit.

It is about 200miles but the sat nav route machine says 151miles (piece of rubbish) again it took 4.5 hours but around Antwerp it was stupidly busy,best go around that one at night :smiley:
