Every truck I’ve ever driven has a horn, so if I pull to the middle lane and someone joins, they’ve got their curtains shut and they leave me hanging, they get alerted to the fact that I’m there, simples. :smiley:

IF you know the law and can read,it is ilegal to give my hooter a hoot at that time of the morning ! :smiley:

Ok SMART ARSE, try reading yourself, think you’ll find the ruling was not using horn in a built up area (and even then it states ‘unless another vehicle poses a danger’)… Not many houses on a motorway.

Really? You believe he’s actually capable of reading, even after some of the posts he’s written?

Someone mentioned a crayon before, I think that’s the only thing he’s really capable of writing with, and someone has to translate his hieroglyphics into text.

Away lads he has got a fair point!!, I,ve done a few years myself but I don,t ever remember seeing a driver with his curtains fully drawn on a motorway :open_mouth: :open_mouth: , it is a bit of a one off, apart from being mega knobheadedness of the highest degree, and it just had to be a Stobart didn,t it :unamused: after them being made out to be the elite of the haulage world on the TV t&t BS :laughing: , so I reckon his post is justified.

As a professional european driver with vast experience i have experienced the afore mentioned problem countless times, I have learned not to get wound up nowadats, and usually back off, if i havent enough speed or power to get past relatively quickly, however the amount of drivers who stay out there for what seems like an eternity trying to pass is unbeleivable, As is the number of drivers who wont give a K or 2 to allow the overtake to be completed and unclog the lanes! . On a much lighter note, during the 90s into the early 2000s i had A N registered volvo FH12 with a fan switch that when tripped down would knock the speedo off and allow me to pass drivers causing such problems as these, no problem!! :stuck_out_tongue: cheers, and keep safe out there guys
