Silly to put that vid up, but I didn’t find it offensive. Just childish in that context.
However someone else might well have found it offensive, and reported it. It wasn’t directed at me after all.
I would expect that the Mod involved would either put the vid back up and/or message RR privately. I don’t know what time scale that would be on. It seems fair to take down a post whilst a decision is taken.
But, given a chance to start a drama…

I guess the mods are discussing whether or not it is offensive/inappropriate or not.

) and to ‘scold’ the likes of somebody as gobby as me

I don’t know what has gone on In here seems to be some preachers ,jokers and some people who genuinely reminisce on the past that you all had with so many memorable people and times. I only messaged in here as I read a post about a gent who was attending my pars funeral and had written some lovely words. With that I thought I may be able to get some even better memory’s and advice with something I haven’t been able to locate for years .
I’m not sure but I assume the majority of people who are staffs or Cheshire will have a memory of my par and alls I was wanting is to hear from you all . Nice to know and reminisce I’m sure you’ll all agree

Tell ya what has ‘gone on’ mate, I have inadvertently and unintenionally hi jacked your thread…which I WILL apologise for.
However, my post was a reaction to your second post, NOT a reaction to the fact you were referring to your deceased relative just to clarify.
If it WAS offensive enough for you to report it, that is for YOUR (not any body elses) interpretation and prerogative, although I am surprised it was deemed so.
So this reply to you is because I felt the need to EXPLAIN it rather than apologise for it.

Can I suggest starting a specific thread on same forum, with the name of your relative as the title, which may be seen better by the appropriate members you are trying to attract who maybe knew him, rather than on a thread with a non specific and ambiguous title…just an idea

Yes, I get all that: I used to ‘park’ posts for consideration when I was a mod. The point I’m making is that it should be made clear that the mod is speaking, not the poster. This is an essential design flaw that needs sorting. Under the old TN you always knew which ‘voice’ was being used.
Anyway, the protagonists appear to sorted their differences so I’m backing off now to let the thread (or its replacement) proceed smoothly and peacefully.
It wasn’t offensive, it was a laugh/a bit of fun.
