Hi John,
You are probably right, thinking about it R C Jeffrey do run some Bedfords on the vintage circuit. No much difference between a Austin K series the Birmingham Bedford and the O type.
Cheers Dave.Yeah your right Dave hard to tell, there very much the same to look at, you can’t see the grill on this one.
cheers
John.I think you are right John, looking at it,I would say on second thoughts it is a Bedford,a bit higher from the bulkhead to the top of the windscreen.
Cheers Dave.
fantastic pics looks like a great show and I swear that is an O type bedford I spent enough time in them as a kid with my old man. cheers fred m

Hi Fred,
Wasn’t actually at the show myself, all the pic’s plus many more of other locations have been lent to me by Roy Morgan.I remember the O type myself as a kid,the firm my dad drove for had them, then had the newer Bedfords right up until they became AWD.They ran other makes, but Bedfords were the main lorries that they bought.
Cheers Dave.
Another vintage lorry from Roy Morgan’s photo collection.
A line up of Classic Commercial’s,pictured having a break on a road run.
Roy Morgan pictured with his Foden Ballast tractor.
Sister vehicle to Roy’s Foden.
Keedwell’s 144 pictured on a road run.
Not sure where this Bedford O type was seen.Roy did mention that some were taken at Mike Patrick’s.
Not sure where this one is either.
Wouldn’t want to be in this one when it’s snowing.
Roy’s Foden and Vulcan parked at his home.
Another view of Roy’s Foden.
Roy Morgan and a few other vintage lorries taking a break at Llanberis on the Welsh road run.
Roy and his wife Ann pictured with the ex B & J Davies Foden, which Roy’s brother Les bought off A J Onions.
A nice old Albion from the Co-op.
Rear view of the two Foden’s.
I should have put this on when I started with Roy’s pic’s,but I didn’t find it until today.
This was Roy’s International tractor, before he restored it.
Roy Morgan’s Vulcan and his brother Les Morgan’s Foden, seen at a show.
