Welsh Border and Mid Wales Hauliers 1950's onwards

Where was that by Dave was it a 26tonner rigid or 7.5 or artic

It was a 7.5 tonner John. Happened between Whitton and Beggars Bush on B4357. Narrow bridge, he probably met something coming to fast and took the hedge and pole to avoid them.
Cheers Dave.

No worries John, wouldn’t have thought the lorry was damaged. A local six w heeler demolished the bridge all a few years ago. Its on the 18 ton mgw bit of that road, not the bridge by a house on the bend nearer Whitton. This on is in dip and then up round a right hand bend.

Cheers Dave.

No it was the ferry stirring the water up Graham. Nice smooth crossing both ways. I enjoyed it, always been fascinated by boats and ships.
Had a cracking time in Ireland, and will go back sometime and do the west coast.
Cheers Dave.
