Dennis “seatbels” no way possibly braces was always a belt and braces gadgy and liked to drive with one hand on the door handle in case i ever needed to bale out you know if a nice bit of cab traffic wanted a lift i was able to alight quickly to help her onboard with her rucksack, take note females of the species only, remember the guys that used to hold a bit of cardboard with their destination scrawled on it well i always had one on the bonnet saying “ME TOO”.

We had a driver on K.Fells that had a mishap with a car just south of the Blue Boar and our Artic took out a couple of hundred yards of crash barrier.When the Old Bill asked him if there was any wittneses he said yes there was but he baled out and the last he saw of him was him legging it up the south bound hard shoulder with his Trade Plates under his arm and holding his backside with his other hand!!! You can’t depend on these “Platers” “H”.Cheers Dennis.

Only other thing I can think of Dennis & Harry,is that the passenger is an assessor.
