And its good news!!! I sent off for my licence back in early November and rang the DVLA a few weeks ago to see how it was going, they told me my application had been accepted and I would be OK to start driving a year from my last seizure (December the 16th 2009), I received a cover note through the post in case I get stopped and it said I should go and get the OK from the doctor just to make sure.
I went to the doctor’s this morning and she said it was fine for me to start driving again!! So as of this Friday I am back on the road, my licence has been restricted to 3.5 tonne (which I expected) and I’m OK for 12 points as oppose to 6 if I had just passed my test, she even wrote me a nice little note saying she had cleared me to drive
To say I am happy is an understatement, going to try and get a job driving vans or something like that.
