Well done to Gretna MSA the showers were out of order. So what did they do about it ?
Put a notice on the shower door advising drivers requiring shower /washing facilities to pop over to the days inn and a guest room would be kept for commercial drivers to use
We are always moaning about MSA and quite rightly so but WB sorted this out instead of just an OUT OF ORDER sign
Yes credit where it’s due, just hope no drivers left a mess in the room.

Ahhh Welcome Break Gretna , believe it or not I won a smartphone out of their ’ grab ’ machine just across from the entrance of the toilet area last June , just happen to put my loose change in the machine , cost me all of £3 , very productive visit , still working fine today ,although some folks think your playing to win an empty box , not so (the only person who sells empty boxes is an undertaker) ahh the old ones are the best , true story about the phone though .
This happend at strensham so I had a bath instead !

Nothing stopping them from building shower /washing facilities within the hotel would encourage HGVs to pay for parking knowing they can enjoy a quality wash /shower.

What do MOTO do? Nothing. No offer of anything like Welcome Break so went to Muir Park Cafe/Truckstop at Bannockburn. Paid £2 for a shower and treated myself to steak pie and chips.

that truckstop has to be one of the best places i have stopped overnight cracking food at decent prices does he still let you park for free if you eat in there
