Regarding clamping, I’ve seen a few foreign trucks with the green cord through the wheels and the ticket stuck to the screen… saw one at Knutsford sth about 3 weeks ago… didnt know they could still do this with the changes to the law…

Immobilised by VOSA probably.
I don’t think the green cord is the clamp for none payment of parking …more likely to be vosa to ensure they have breaks etc
I was in Whitwood truckstop at castleford for fuel recently, there was an irish low loader parked up with 2 VOSA inspectors. They parked him up for not having a movement order for his wide load and there was a luminous yellow wire through his tractor wheels and one through his trailer wheels. he was still there 2 days later apparently. Perhaps this was the case at Knutsford

I think they did that knowing they wouldn’t get a penny from him 
My mother in law got a ticket for parking in a retail car park, whilst she was window shopping. They only give her 5 days to appeal or pay up. I’ve told her not to bother but she has only gone and paid the sods
With regards to parking in moto servs get the moto deals app on your android phone,or iPhone then check out the deals of the day on there.
You can show your phone in the servs and you can get some very good cheap deals.
I stayed at Stafford North a couple of weeks ago. I got there around 2100. £19.00 parking (without voucher) The showers were locked and not open til’ morning and no food outlets except Costa were open! I only stopped there cos’ boss said he’d pay. Never again,

And as a bonus they’ll send me some nice bits of paper over the next few months until they give up, they will come in handy for lighting the fire.
ive just had one of those from welcome break the wh smith shop was closed when i went to pay the sign said to pay by mobile but my phone is locked (not using my own) and would not have had a receipt
forgot all about it in the morningadvice ive been given now is to appeal it to parking eye when they refuse ask for a ref number for poplo and appeal again as it costs um 20 odd quid then if you have no joy ignore
the law slightly changed when clamping was bannedThe best course of action is to ignore any correspondence from them and eventually they will go away. At the end of the day all they are sending you is an invoice. Go on moneysavingexpert.com and look at the forums,there you will find a parking/fines section and all the advice you will need.
Parking Eye are starting to attempt court. Therefore, ignoring is now not the best option.
IF the MSA offers free parking, how much has been lost for overstaying the free period? Anything over this amount (£0) is a penalty. The only people allowed to penalise are police, councils and courts. Not private individuals/companies.
Challenge them over the amount they say is due and is it a penalty?

Parking eye are attempting and parking eye are winning in court are two very different things.Where have you got this info from, I would really like to see. I m posting from personal experience and using the help avaliable from money saving expert forums worked for me.
