The first regular weekly rest period (Monday to Thursday) could count for that week and the second one that crosses over midnight Sunday could be used as a regular weekly rest period for the second week.
so am i right in thinking every time you have 45 off its a weekly rest or reduced rest in the case of a 24 hr rest ?

Yes, any rest period of 24 hours or more but less than 45 hours is a reduced weekly rest period, if it’s 45 hours or more it’s a regular weekly rest period.
That’s not to say they always count for anything other than starting a new set of six 24 hour periods though.
You only need one weekly rest period for each week so any more than one in a week is surplus to requirements.
yeh cheers tacho still governed by the driving hours ect it just resets the reduced rests available
