Here’s hoping the experts amongst you can help me with this one.
On Sat 8/6/13 after a full weekly rest I did a day shift, card in at 08.56 and out at 19.37
My next shift was today Mon 10/6/13 card in at 04.57 and out at 15.04
I have the Globofleet software which is telling me that of my 144hrs allowed, I have so far used 54hrs 08min leaving me with 89hrs 52min left before my next weekly rest is due.
According to me that means that if I were to work on Tue, Wed and Thur of this week, on Friday I would have to have my card out by 08.56
(Which would obviously mean that in reality I would not be able to work on the Friday)
Am I correct or am I talking a load of cobblers, your help / advice on this one would be much appreciated.

You resumed work after a full weekly rest on Saturday morning and finished on Saturday evening at 19:37, at which point you began another weekly rest period of 33 hours and 20 minutes. This reset the 144 hour clock which began ticking again at 04:57 this morning giving you until 04:57 Sunday the 16th to begin your next weekly rest, which can be a reduced rest as you had a full for last week. The 33 hour 20 minute reduced rest you took from Saturday evening until this morning requires no compensation. No idea why the software you use is telling you what it is but based on the information you have given it is wrong.

That is the bit I couldn’t understand, as I had not worked on the Sunday and the period between me finishing on Saturday evening and starting again this morning was over 24 hrs which would count as a reduced weekly rest, yet the software is including Sunday in the 144hrs allowed and telling me I have only 89hrs 52min left before another weekly rest is due.
I’m going to call the software company tomorrow and point this out to them and see what they have to say.

Would I be right in saying that would need compensation if used as a reduced weekly rest for the week 10th to 16th ?
