As work has dropped off recently , I had my first full week in the uk for some time.
It was worse than I thought. I struggled to get a decent meal most days. Couldn’t find a clean shower for love nor money. parking is a nightmare. And the petty elf and safety bonkers security guards drove me mad.
Hopefully the coming week will be better. Many more like that & I’m on me bike.

There are some decent showers out there, its just knowing where to go. I must admit that for all the excellent showers on the continent, I’ve probably been in more over there that were really grotty and even worse than UK. France and Italy have been the worst IMO.
