Well done Russ, just remeber to keep that hideous monstrosity of a pike way over to the right so I don’t knock your mirrors off when I fly by

We lost one into the Rhubarb last night en route to Ft Mac , no doubt the driver will be at fault :unamused: Can already see the BS heading our way ,all accidents are preventable etc COUGH !! LOL Even the cops and ambulances were in the ditch on Highway 11 this morning , what a gong show peeps .

Yeah thanks for the advice NMM, passed my tests today to pull the pikes so its all systems go !! A week out with a mentor next week doing the mental Headingley changeovers and then out on my own doing Calgary and Edmonton runs the week after

FTTM I heard about Highway 11 this morning at work, they weren`t even sending rescue vehicles to recover the emergency vehicles in the ditch apparently cos of the ice. I drove along Fleming Rd this morning and slid straight past the car park entrance to the dc lol

It was bad Russ , mate of mine runs the local recovery and was sent to drag the ambulance away ,he even uses studded steer tires on his equipment :exclamation: Trouble is that this crap isn’t done yet , until the temperatures get higher which will increase the flood risk we have to suffer freezing rain into the equation , a no win situation . Time for a holiday LOL

Well done again Russ :sunglasses:

No chance of us running Pikes, my lot pulled out of Grain Haulage when they legalised the Super Bs, they would sell up before they started dragging a free trailer behind a tractor trailer

I came down 11 on Thursday, it was nasty, not as bad as coming into S’Toon from Kindersley, there I had it at all kinds of funny angles on the ice pack, thought I was a goner a couple of times when it folded in half nearly  11 was bad, but the right lane was the place to be, it was still nice white snow, the outside lane was icy slush and as slippery as a vaseline covered eel in a paddling pool full of grease, obviously being SK there wasn’t a plow or sand truck to be seen :unamused:

You can guess where I went on Thursday , yeap Regina , Rosetown , Kindersley , Battleford , Meadow Lake . Made it to Radisson that night after 1046 kms of total crap , one benefit of yanking a tank is not suffering from side winds . Happy Days
