Try stockport hgv training their about 40 minutes from you very good instructors bar one on the whole they were decent I paid about 900pound about 5 years ago don’t think it’ll be that much dearer now trucks were decent as well give it a whirl and good luck.
thx scally for the information. i have just booked my theory test for 22 august i have got a day off from work. hope every thing goes well only worry about dcpc havnt a clue how the test will gonna be like. i will inform with my progress thx.

I just Got Back From My Test Centre And Gladly To Say I have Passed All 3 with good Marks Theory 92 out of 100, Cpc 45 out of 50, <— No preperation At All On Cpc, and hazard perception 84 out of 100,
Theory Test Now Some of the questions i didnt see in my theory book but it just using common sense Really. Cant remember the Questions.
Cpc. Question. Cpc Time, Fuel Efficiency, something to do with braking, Tunnel Questions, Sat Nav 1 Question, Accident On the Road, yes i got umarked Bridge question, Mobile Phone Question, I mean Most Of the Question Were From the Book or basically Common Sense As you read the Whole Theory Book You Actually Get the Idea like what is the questioner trying To Ask, and as you Read Along Oh Yes i have had 2 question of this as well, Resting Periods, and the diagroms on Techograph like Break, Driving and the other 2 here is the picture the second Question Make sure You remember them as i only knew 2 break and driving and i didnt know about other 2 and there was 2 question on cpc about this as well.

Hello Guys A Quick Question How Many Driving Assessment Hours Do i need, i just rang town and Country and spoke to steve he said for 2 hours assessment its 80 pounds and he said i need atleast 1 hour or 2 hours assessment and on their website its 68 pounds special offer for medical licence application and an assessment. I havnt booked in yet but i just wanna know what to do i rang red rose as well and they are saying assessment is for 20 pounds Now which one should i go for. Both of these Companies are in Recomended List of this forum.

Most assessments should take no more than an hour. If you go for 2 hours it is 2 hours of tuition that you won’t need to add to your course.
When I was looking for trainers I went to 4-5 and got an hour or so with each one. They were either free or small fee and I got 5 hours of reduced price tuition, which meant no big build up with the course.

I have heard many good things about Paul @ Hindley Green.
80 pounds is a lot considering others do it for free. But it covers the cost of fuel. Did you ask if the cost is deducted from the course fees? This is how some trainers do assessments.

The address on any letter isn’t relevant. What is important is that your driving licence has the correct address. The only time you’d need to worry about it is if you have moved and your letters are still being sent to an old address. If they are going to your dads and you can still get hold of them then don’t worry.

I have just visited Paul from Hindley green and booked my assessment for 18 September for 1 hour, and paid for the practical test and assessment, he will decide on my assessment like how many hours do i need for training, Does people Do more then 20 hours training ■■ cause Paul said he will see if i need more assessment before the actual training. or to see how many hours do i need 10 to 20 or more etc.

I had one trainee who I assessed for 10 days training and boy did he need it !! - but out of all the ones I trained that was the only one
Most were on either 5 or 7 day courses with a few on 3 or 4 days … all those would be either full days 2 to 1 or half days 1 to 1
hiya as experienced instructors out there i want some help as to how to drive i still got some time left on my training its end of october. i am thinking if i can improve little skills now in the car i probably not gonna require more then 20 hours that is just my guessing, if any of u instructors can give me any idea advice so i can adopt that in my normal routine now i will be very thank ful to all.
