Wannabe and not got a clue

Hi folks - Ok I’m currently a bus driver and after checking my license I do have my C provisional. Would I still need to have a medical ? Or is that just to get a provisional?

I don’t have cpc though as I passed my car after 1997.

Finally I live Merseyside. Would anyone recommend a training school?

Thanks

You will need a D4 medical in 2023 which will cover both LGV & PCV

You have LGV provisional so no new D4 medical needed if you go for C

You were sensible to tick both C & D when you sent in your first D4 and D2 forms

Happy days then

Cheers mate

I can’t recommend a school in Merseyside but if you’re willing to travel the forum sponsor, Peter Smythe will give you a discount for being a TruckNet member, and they also offer free accommodation if you’re over 70 miles away. I’m sure Merseyside is more than 70 miles from them

Oh really
I’ll take a look
Think it’s about 80 miles

Thanks
