Are Waitrose moving from Aylesford, and are the co op going in does anyone know ?
Waitrose have a new warehouse at MK operated by K&N. The Aylesford site IS under review. No idea about the Co-op though.

Waitrose own the Property of Aylesford depot outright. Unless they can sell it outright to another supermarket chain - I don’t think it’s going to be closed down any time soon, at least by “mothballing” it.
They bought it from Morrisons originally about a decade ago who had mothballed it after buying it from long-defunct Safeways originally (2003?). Safeways were widely considered by far “The best game in town” for agency drivers about 20 years ago. Hourly rates on agency when Blair came to power in 1997 were about the same there as they are at Snodland nowadays.
It’s been getting on for a decade now since there was talk of “Tescos Snodland” being sold on too, albeit Wincanton have been running the show in there for a while now.
Tesco snodland is closing this year sometime

Apparently it’s going to consil with Dagenham
If both close that will be an awful lot of jobs disappearing. I wonder just where all the people who will be living in the thousands of proposed new houses being built in the area are going to work in that case? The same thing going for the entire new town proposed for Stanford and the old Folkestone Racecourse site, East Kent is not exactly a boom area.
Oh yes of course, they’ll build a new call centre, everyone’s dream job.

As BaldBloke says, they’ll move the work into Dagenham, how they’ll cope I don’t know as I’m unsure of the amount of work Snodland does, but Welham Green is also closing and 90% of the workthey do has now gone into Reading DC, Easter and Xmas will be interesting to say the least.
Snodland no longer does the stuff west of the M25, and North of the River. Places like Tolworth now come from Reading, and Essex is now done from Dagenham.
That leaves Kent & Sussex then - and of course all those crappy runs into town. Start times later than 7pm get you out of most of those though, except Brixton.
Last time I was in there regular, I avoided starts before 7pm, and ended up getting sent to places like Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Horsham, & Gatwick most shifts.
The urban runs tended to go out the depot around tea time. Worst among those I did - was Elephant and Castle in the middle of the afternoon.

Who is doing Brighton, Lancing and Bognor? There used to be a late night Elephant IIRC.

Dunno about Lancing but Southampton does Bognor and Brighton
