ppl say that the british are going to canada just to fill the badly paying jobs that the canadians dont want, which is kinda belivable as we have the poles over here in the same position, but am wondering if the starting rates that are taken are a true reflection the going rates or are there really loads of better paying jobs just waiting for you once you have pr
I have heard that tto daycrawler, I would think there are alot of things you could do once you have your pr in tow.
A bit of advise don’t slate Canada to much, or you could vanish like alot of other ppl
we british here in canada are not poles, although in some ways we are doing the same thing as the poles in europe, there are poles here aswell along with a lot of other nationals,we are on the same money as anybody else doing the same job here, some companies pay more some pay less, but at the end of the day they all turn out the same, but then that depends on the area or province you operte from. the money depends on how much work you are given and how much you can do.plus it also depends if your paid by the mile or by the hour, normally if by the hour they will only allow you to work 12 hrs per day on city work.there are so many permitations of pay check out the job see if it fits your wallet first.

That sounds a bit sinister Gumbo, a bit like your pseudo , welcome to TN all the same.
It sounds suspect to me David.
Anyway, Vast got it right. We are paid the same as anyone else… Some firms charge for training which I am dubious of. The firm I am with treat us as they do their own nationals.
If you set much store by some of the former posters then you are barking up the wrong tree.
