Hello switchlogic
I start off treating everyone with courtesy and respect, but when they try ‘having me over’ or are too mentally feeble to be able to understand the basics of cabotage rules, then they are fair game for a more terse and direct approach.
tell me you’re not exactly the same.
I believe IF you treat people with courtesy and respect you probably wouldn’t be in this situation. You gave not enough information therefore certain assumptions had to be made. I asked a question, you got ■■■■■■ and gave me a crass answer then wonder why I didn’t like it.
Hi me old Mucker85
I believe that WHEN you treat people with courtesy and respect, and all you expect in return is for those people to do their job correctly, then you shouldn’t be in this situation.
It may well be that you have had nothing but good positive experiences with every VOSA / DVSA person you have met. I doubt that you could honestly say that though.
However my VOSA / DVSA friends at Immingham are in a league of their own when it comes to incorrectly interpreting and applying certain rules and regulations.
Mark my words, if you’re an international haulier heading out of the U.K. via Killingholme you will at some stage be subjected to the ‘Immingham experience’ as I call it courtesy of DVSA and accused of cabotage by them.
I think we’ve thrashed this one to death now, I’ll give you an update if DVSA ever reply to my letters sent for the Oct 2014, Dec 2014, and Feb 2015 allegations.
Love, peace and many miles of event free driving
